Super Plums are pockets of molten lave pushing up under the Earth’s crust and forming cavities, which are trying to escape to the surface. At least this is what scientists believe happens. This theory stands to reason because often volcanic activity happens in regions, where Volcanoes which are dormant become active all at once. For instance Volcanoes in South America and Central America occur at the same time as those in Mexico City or in the Mountains between there and Baja California. Other examples are Volcanic Activity in Oregon, Washington and Alaska occur within the same season or year.
Volcanic Activity can also send Earthquake Swarms and set of small tremblers of Seismic Activity as the molten lava moves beneath the Earth. In 2005 we saw such activity in the Kuril Islands Eastern Russia and Volcanic Activity in Alaska, with seismic activity near the bearing straight.
Many scientists expect continued Volcanic Activity along the Pacific Rim of Fire due to the seismic activity and civil unrest of many of the volcanoes throughout and adjacent to the Rim of Fire. Meaning we will have more activity in underwater volcanic vents heating up the ocean, more escape of gas, more steam and more volcanic ash. Expect the 2006 year to be filled with volcanic and seismic activity with as much sound, shaking and fury as 2005 and perhaps more.
