Judges in the world are a blessing to society and are very needful. That is, if they’re honest. But unfortunately we live in a world that loves to judge. Most of the time it’s unfair, because we really don’t know that person heart, or for sure that what we think is true. Unlike judges of this world, there is only one true judge; there is only one fair judge.
God, from the beginning of time, who created all people, and knows us all, knows out thoughts, knows our ways, knows how we live, can truly judge us fairly. The bible says JUDGE NOT less you be judged. This is a word that the majority of the Christians world doesn’t like to know the true meaning of in their heart, because they enjoy judging and criticizing. They look for bible scriptures to condone their actions.
They will even go far enough to say that God expects them to do that: that are standing got the truth. But there is a great difference between judging and telling people what the bible says. Only God reveals truth from the scriptures, and only God is a true judge, because he judges our heart, and he reveals to us our wrongs for the purpose of helping us to live for him and to know the truth. Only then can we be free.
When we judge, it’s far from the truth, if we could think about it. We really don’t truthfully know what is in someone’s heart. They judged Jesus over and over again. He put spit in the dirt and made mud to put on a blind man’s eyes to heal him, when all he really has to do was speak the word and he would have been healed. The same was true on the day of Pentecost, when it was obvious the power of the Holy Ghost had come. Because they didn’t understand it, nor believe in it, had never seen it, they judged it and said they were drunk.
One thing about judging, we all do it to some degree. Some of us try to do it righteously; some just use the scripture, and call it righteous judgment, when the plain truth is, Jesus said, “Judge Not”. If we really want to please the Lord we would not allow Satan to deceive is in this area. People who pray for them who falter, fail, get in the flesh, and love them that are having problems fir the description of a true Christian.
I wonder if it wouldn’t be wise for us not to take a chance of judging the truth or error of another by their outward appearance. Leave the judging to the one who created us all. Who says that judgment begins at the house of God and it should end there.
Remember, when you are looking at someone or circumstances in the Christian world, JUDGE NOT, LEST YOU BE JUDGED!
