Many folks are quick to point out that the United States is not well liked around the world. Interesting considering how much donations, monies and gifts we give isn't it? With regards to being loved and respected and the current paradigm of mass world media propaganda perhaps you might like a second opinion?
The respect issue is an interesting factor with World Affairs, some say it is best to be loved and respected, yet if you have to give people stuff all the time and turn a blinds eye towards the corruption then is it worth being loved by such folks? How do you feel about the media hit that the Chirac and Annan put out on the US during the Iraq engagement?
Indeed it seems that was much about Mass Media hit than anything else. Sometimes I feel that a created reality no matter how convincing is still what it is, rather than what it appears to be. In politics there are many ways to move the dog, you can wag its tail, give it a bone, kick it in the arce or you can be nice to it. Just don't piss it off, I am told.
Often signing onto false realities of those who purvey Apocalypse in order to shift an economic balance of power is not in the best interest of a nation, I have found. What have you found in your life experience? Do you really believe all the hokum on your TV Set or are you wondering what the real deal is? It is time that we got a reality check and considered the other perspective.
